Yamaha FT9.9 LMHX Four Stroke Outboard

For raw power and precise handling, an FT model is the perfect answer. Ideal for sailing, fishing and working boats, these high-thrust, high-torque engines set new standards of performance, with minimal noise and vibration – and maximum fuel economy.

FT models use Yamaha’s patented Dual-Thrust propeller to provide full thrust in Forward and Reverse – making light work of manoeuvring a heavy boat. The lightweight Yamaha FT9.9 is perfectly portable and the comfortable-to-use, integrated carrying handle helps too.

The Yamaha F9.9 is steered and controlled by the tiller handle and it is a either a manual pull start engine or an electric start engine. There a simple lever-operated system for forward and reverse gears. The built-in fuel tank gives a sensible range for a small outboard engine. There is a coupling for the (supplied) 12 litre fuel tank to give a longer range.

Offering the same technical features and advantages of the popular F9.9 – but more – this FT version is like a powerful workhorse – designed never to let you down.
